I wish the Forest Service would stay out of this, we need to let Darwin (natural selection) weed out the bear posers, bison riders and their ilk.
This is a nice thought but the problem is that a stupid person will antagonize a bear, the bear will defend itself and hurt the stupid person, then the bear gets euthanized.
Bison riders? Seriously?
OK, I admit that some folks on a timber marking crew I work on many (many) years ago would try chasing down and riding range cattle. Try, yes, but no one ever made it onto the back of one of the critters — which is why we’re all still alive.
