I’ve often said that what the FS is talking about in reorganization sounds like the same questions we looked at during Transformation (but I wasn’t in R&D then). I’ve even heard from my sources that some of the folks involved in Reorg reviewed the Transformation documents. I was looking through my files and ran across my responses to a Transformation questionnaire. You may get a hoot out of it, I did.
“don’t penalize those organizations that have already made efficiency changes” sigh. I’m hearing about this with regard to the current fleet reduction issue..
Also “there is so much change going on right now”. This was 2007. Note: even I don’t always agree with 2007-me.
Yeah, I know this is a more critical tone than I would use as a TSW writer, but I was trying to get a point across in-house. Even then it was about leases and getting more money to the field…and the spelling is pretty awful, I guess it was a draft. More than likely this was mixed with others’ views and edited before it was sent out.
What’s an example of an existing “corporate principle?”
